I bought a Tassimo Coffee machine. I ordered some Tassimo mugs from Tassimo on 10/24/11. When I didn't get a estimated shipping date, I called them today (November 10th) I found out that another company had purchased Tassimo. Their customer service personal are excellent and I was able to reorder the mugs. Great support from the customer service department.

It worked ok for a little while and then broke down. Bosch will not honor their warranty. All you can do is call them and everyone you talk to says they don't deal with the coffee makers. They then give you another number and if you call the new number you just get the same.

After reading all the reviews and looking in local stores (I even 'interviewed' customers buying k cups and t-discs), I was undecided about which 'one cup' maker to purchase but am thrilled with the Tassimo. Bought the Tassimo 45 a few weeks ago. We love it. Very easy set up. Washed the water tank, installed it, ran a few cups of water through without coffee, put in a t-disc, got delicious coffee. The t-discs are simple to use and require no clean up. Place them in the machine, close the top, put a mug under the spout, turn it on and within a minute, you have very good, very hot coffee. Pop the top, take out the disc and dispose (this is the ONLY downside to this system... I wish they were recyclable). We've tried the Gevalia Kona and Gevalia Columbia t-discs. Both produce strong, NOT bitter, wonderful cups of coffee. Have enjoyed coffee in France and I'd have to say this is just about as good.
Tried the Keurig and it's fine if you want regular drip coffee with the convenience of a one cup but the results are nothing like the Tassimo. The Tassimo makes coffee using pressure which extracts much more flavor from the coffee. Yes, there are tons more choices with K cups than t-discs but I have found enough choices with the t-discs to satisfy.
The nice thing about the t-discs is they come in 3 'sizes'. Each t-disc has a bar code on it that is read by the machine. If you buy the espresso t-discs, they make a small espresso size cup. If you purchase the regular or 'medium' size, they almost fill my regular coffee mug with room to add milk. There's also a large size.
This is an inexpensive machine, lightweight, mostly plastic but looks decent enough on the counter; the inner workings must be well made because it works flawlessly. Yes, it makes a little bit of noise when brewing, but I'm really sensitive to noise and I don't find it noisy and it takes less than a minute to brew a cup. No, this is not an inexpensive way to brew coffee when compared to bulk, bagged coffee but it is delicious, really feels indulgent and we are very happy with our purchase.
