installed the camera in conjuntion with a kenwood dnx9140 in an 07 volkswagen EOS,it works great even at night , the quality is top notch , my install was a bit more difficult because of the need to remove the rear bumper cover to attach bolts .

Outstanding item. Super fast shipping...maybe took 2 days via USPS. Easy to install, the hardest part is running the wire under the vehicle. Wire was plenty long enough for a tundra. Looks amazing at night and has very clear picture during the day too. 100% recommended.

Installed the camera on the rear of my 2008 Dodge Dakota Laramie Quad Cab in combination with a Lockpick V.3 as an upgrade to the MYGIG Multimedia Infotainment System. This provides automatic view on the MYGIG screen to backup when transmission is placed in reverse. Sorry no how to video... The unit was received well packaged with no damage. The black high gloss finish is a big upgrade from the dealer installed license plate frame! They didn't deserve the free advertising anyway... The cabling included had more than enough length to reach the radio unit from the rear bumper of the truck. Because the three wires in the cable are of small gauge with a plastic jacket it didn't seem rugged enough to run underneath the truck by itself. In my opinion of course. I was also installing a power tailgate lock harness, which also had to be routed to the front. The wiring for this was installed in a split type harness jacket. I was able to include the camera cable inside this and tie wrap it to the truck factory wire harness up to the front. I did install a double layer of heat shrink over the very small un-protected (weather) extension cable connector. I made sure this connection was inside that split plastic jacketing. The instructions provided is really just a diagram of how to install the license plate frame to the truck. The camera color picture quality is very good, but not quite HD. Can't say much about night time picture quality just yet, have not driven during night time. There is plenty of up down adjustment of the camera to accommodate most installs. I'm happy with the purchase and am considering picking up another for the front bumper. Planning on buying a trailer soon and am sure the camera will be even more helpfull backing up to it.
